Why Loid Forger Aka Twilight Adopts Anya?

Donovan Desmond is the next target of Loid Forger, better known as Twilight. He is known to be a threat to the peace that needs to be maintained between the east and the west. Donovan is a highly confidential man who is hardly seen in public. But he is known to attend the meetings held in his son’s school. So in order to infiltrate one of those school meetings, Twilight needs a child who studies in the same school. And that’s the reason why he chooses to adopt Anya.

Anya in Spy X Family Character Explained

According to her forged I.D. papers, Anya is a six-year-old girl who is also known as Test Subject 007. She is one of the most intelligent girls in her orphanage from where Twilight adopts her. Anya’s past is quite unclear, but she was an unintended result of an experiment held by a team of scientists. Her past was a tough one and she was forced by the scientists to get better control of her abilities. Later she escapes from the organization.

Her greatest ability is that she can read the minds of people. That’s how she quickly gets to know whenever Loid lies to her. But in order to use this telepathic ability, Anya needs to be within a certain radius of her target. When she is in a highly crowded area, Anya gets swamped by reading too many thoughts, and as a result, her nose starts to bleed. When a mind is a complex one, like one of Loid, Anya finds it difficult to read the thoughts.

On the new moon, Anya is not unable to use her telepathy powers. The scientists called this effect “Eclipsing”. She is known to misuse her powers at times, especially to do her homework or to cheat in exams. But even without her powers, she is known to have saved Loid’s life a few times with her quick thinking skills.
