World Trigger season 3 will start airing in October 2021 in Japan, on TV Asahi. Simulcast sites around the world will be streaming the TV anime at the same time. Crunchyroll simulcasted season 2 so it’s likely to be the simulcast service that will handle season 3 too.

The seiyuu at the end of the AnimeJapan 2021 stage event with the release date reveal of season 3. We have Nobunaga Shimazaki (Hyuse), Tomo Muranaka (Yūma Kuga), and Yuki Kaji (Osamu Mikumo).
Started in 2013, World Trigger was originally a manga series published in Weekly Shonen Jump, written and illustrated by the mangaka Daisuke Ashihara. The story is loosely based on Trigger keeper, a one shot Ashihara published back in 2009.
The first season of World Trigger was 73 episodes long, aired from October 2014 to April 2016. it’ll all available on Crunchyroll legally. The second season was part of the Winter 2021 anime season and is ending in a few days.
While World Trigger never became huge like some of its contemporaries in Shonen Jump such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the series still managed to outshine others and get a sizable following, hence why season 3 is happening. World Trigger was also switched from weekly to monthly publication in December 2018. Which garnered deeper character and story developments characteristic of monthly manga compared to weekly. Viz and Mangaplus publish the manga in English.
